This one is going to be relatively easy. It's one of my favorites and was written by Mr. Bill Monroe. If you're new to bluegrass, you'll want to know a little about this man, log into the Bill Monroe Foundation and learn about the "father of bluegrass".

We do have a new feature we're going to try for this lesson, VIDEO!!!!! We've still got the MP3's and pdf's that everyone is used to, but we've included a slow version movie file for mandolin and guitar. First things first, no laughing. This is our first video attempt. I'm sure the pro videographers will get a chuckle, but hey, it's free and we're working on it. These are about 4 megs each and are as small as I could make them and still have them worth watching. I'm hoping the video's will help folks get a better idea of right and left hand positions and fingerings, etc. As always, if you've got questions or comments, feel free to email us at Rick@bluegrassbooksonline.com I have yet to put up a lesson without screwing something up, so let me know if you find an error. Have fun.

Rick
